BIBLICAL MODEL NOMINATION PROCESS
The Nominating Committee shall oversee the nominating process in the selection of church members to serve in the following positions when
there is a need:
1. Elders
2. Deacons
3. Advisory Committee Members / Standing Committee Members
4. Ministry Leaders
5. Other Ministry Positions as determined by the Elders Council
The Nominating Committee shall:
• Accept nominations from church members
• Process nominees’ applications
• Interview nominees and
• Make recommendations for acceptance of nominees in accordance with the Bylaws for the positions of Elders, Deacons, Committee Members and Ministry Leaders.
The Nominating Committee shall work with the Elders, Deacons and Senior Church Staff to complete the Nomination Process. It is the membership’s responsibility to actively recruit candidates for positions in the body. It is not the Nominating Committee’s responsibility.
