Gatekeepers

The Gatekeepers direct the flow of cars on our multi-acre campus. With the understanding that proper vehicular placement and pedestrian safety go hand in hand, the Gatekeepers strive to use efficient ways to accomplish these goals. Gideon's Army

Ephesians 6:12 says “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world and against spiritual wickedness in high places." Gideon's Army (intercessory prayer ministry) intercedes on behalf of the body of Christ by the leading of the Holy Spirit in order to accomplish the will of the Father for His kingdom. God truly has shown himself to be mighty through this ministry, which meets every 1st Friday from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and every 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Saturdays from 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m. For more information please call (336) 273-7930.

Health and Wellness

The Health and Wellness Ministry is comprised of licensed health care professionals and others with an interest in providing helpful health services to our congregation. The ministry takes a proactive approach to promoting health awareness to our body and the surrounding community. Hospitality

The essence of any ministry can be measured by the extent to which it offers hospitality (greeting and comfort). Ephesians 4:16 says “From whom the body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love." The Hospitality Ministry purpose is to serve while exhibiting love to build a strong sense of community for every one that visits the Mount Zion campus. The Hospitality Ministry offers a “Called to Serve” training session to all of Mount Zion's ministries. This excellent training solidifies our effort to be a 5-Star Ministry. Media

The Media Ministry is known as the “Can Do" Ministry. This ministry services the needs of the multiple ministries within our church while utilizing the latest technology. If you have an audio/video need inside the building or outside at the park, they can fulfill your request. Music

Our Music Ministry is currently comprised of seven choirs, four praise teams, an orchestra and a band. Pearls of Purpose

This ministry is designed to develop, encourage, and nurture young ladies ages 11-18 through Godly principles. We aspire to teach young ladies to seek the sovereignty of God, operate in their gifts and to strive to know God's plan and perfect will for their life. Usher

Hebrews 6:10 says “For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister." The Usher Ministry's purpose is far more than that of a doorkeeper or a paper peddler; it embraces the care and well being of members and visitors despite social economic status in life.
