External Event Planning

Mount Zion Baptist Church is conveniently located just minutes from downtown Greensboro. We are in a prime location for both businesses and church groups.

Our capabilities range from our theatre-style seated sanctuary, which will accommodate approximately 3,000 to smaller furnished and unfurnished classrooms suited for small-scale events and everything in between. Special amenities include:

  • 3,000 theatre-style seated sanctuary
  • Multi-purpose room able to seat 425
  • Scenic areas for private settings
  • Classrooms furnished with chairs dry erase boards and podiums
  • Assorted technical, audio and video equipment
  • High-speed internet capabilities

Non-Wedding Event

External Facility Reservation Form

This form is an application for all external (non-wedding) events. It details the purpose and needs of the event as it relates to Mount Zion being the host site. If you are planning a wedding, you DO NOT need to complete this form but the forms below.

Wedding Policy

This document details the policies and guidelines of weddings being performed on Mount Zion's campus. (Note: If the ceremony is being performed by a visiting minister, you will need to complete the designated form found on the last page of this policy.)

Pre-Marital and Marital Counseling Form

This form must be submitted with the Wedding Application at least four months prior to the wedding date if:
the Bride and/or Groom are members of Mount Zion Baptist Church and desire to use the facilities for the wedding.
the Bride and/or Groom desire to have an ordained Mount Zion pastor or minister officiate the ceremony.

Wedding Application

This form is the application and contract needed to book a wedding at Mount Zion. Please note that the prices listed in the contract are valid through 12/31/09. The wedding must take place by 12/31/09 in order to receive these prices.

Media Request Form for Weddings

This form is used to submit ALL media needs and special requests for wedding ceremony and/or reception including reservations for a sound technician, musician, etc. This is also the form to submit requests to play specific CD tracks. Please note that ALL music played during the ceremony must be submitted and approved by our Minister of Music beforehand.
