First Lady Brooks

First Lady Edna G. Brooks

Since early childhood, Lady Brooks has had a unique walk and experience with God. She has grown to love Him with her whole body, soul, and spirit. Having been healed by God at an early age of a brain tumor, Lady Brooks believes in the miraculous power of God.

For the past 28 years, Lady Brooks has ministered to numerous adults and young people through teaching, counseling, and leading people to Christ with her husband who is the Senior Pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Lady Brooks’ desire to see men and women prosper in their spiritual growth led her to teach, inspire, uplift and encourage others through several Bible studies. On Tuesday nights she implemented “Family Matters Bible Study” to encourage the family and teach through class and practical applications. Lady Brooks and her husband also empower couples through marriage seminars and conferences. She spends many hours counseling and providing assistance to those in need in the church as well as to those in the community.

First Lady Brooks received her Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina A&T State University and a Master of Religious Arts in Christian Psychology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary.
