Good Samaritan Ministry

The WE Program - Homeless Initiative

Our Purpose:

To minister, encourage and help provide resources to the homeless population, which will empower them to be successful productive citizens.

Our Vision:

To provide services for the homeless individuals and families assisting them in becoming viable citizens in the community.

Our Mission:

Through networking with individuals, churches and community organizations, we will assist the homeless with housing, education, job training, financial assistance, transportation, spiritual development and other needed services.

Core Values:

  • Godly guidance in meeting the needs of the homeless population
  • Sharing and collaborating with churches/other agencies to maximize available resources to support our ministry.
  • Making a positive difference in the lives of the homeless through training and education

Good Samaritan's Colors

Shades of Purple...When someone is bruised the skin turns a dark purple, as the skin heals the dark purple color becomes lighter and lighter until it returns back to its natural color. The GSM for one day wears the bruises of the people we serve in the form of a smile, a hug, fellowship, a prayer, food, clothing and most of all showing the love of God.

A Call to Business Owners

We are calling on business owners and others, who have a need for laborers (skilled and unskilled), to consider giving some of our target population an opportunity for employment.
