Nomination Process Timeline

 May Councils, Committees and Ministries identify vacant leadership positions
 June The Nominating Committee notifies church membership about vacant leadership positions 
 July Church Members nominate persons to fill the vacant leadership positions by completing a "Leadership Nomination Form." (30 days)
 August Persons nominated for the leadership positions complete an application process, which includes submitting a "Leadership Candidate Application" and attending an interview. 
 September Nominating Committee:
1.  Interviews/Screens Candidates
2. Presents Candidates to Elders Council
3. Elders Council reviews nominations
 October 1st Sunday in October nominations presented to church body.  Body has 30 days to pray/consider nominations
 November 2nd Sunday in November the Elders Council presents the newly selected/appointed leaders to the church membership
 December Orientation /Training for New Leaders
 January Current/Newly selected/appointed Ministry Leaders, Deacon Ministry Candidates, Committee Members, Council Members are affirmed and committed, reaffirmed or recommitted, appointed or reappointed for service.
