Pastor DeJuan O. Harris serves on the executive staff of Mount Zion Baptist of Greensboro, Inc. as Pastor of Young Adult. He is submitted to Senior Pastor Bishop George W. Brooks who has served on the executive board as Bishop of Administration of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship under the leadership of Bishop Paul S. Morton.
Pastor Harris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. While at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Pastor Harris was a member of both the Aggie football and Aggie baseball teams.
Accepting the call to ministry in 2005, Pastor Harris became the Pastor of Young Adults in 2009, serving over 1400 Young Adults ranging in age from 18 – 35 at Mount Zion Baptist Church of Greensboro, Inc.
An accomplished athlete and dedicated servant, Pastor Harris has served as the assistant baseball coach, math tutor and mentor for area high school and college students as well as professionals in the field. Serving as pastor has given him the opportunity to continue to share the gospel both locally and internationally as he intertwines his love of sports and the arts in his message.
It is the goal of Pastor Harris to build a strong infrastructure through a number of platforms that will allow Young Adults to connect with each other and the ministry as a whole. His aim is to ensure that Young Adults live a life of balance with practical application of the Word of God.
With his Kingdom agenda of “Speak It. Live It. Build It.”, Pastor Harris aims to ensure that all Young Adults live a life that embraces the fullness of God’s expectation with conviction and clarity.
His desire is to let people know they have P.O.W.E.R.

A native of Charlotte North Carolina, Pastor Harris and his wife Sannyu reside in Greensboro, North Carolina.
