Pastor Khalis Lemons

Pastor Khalis Lemons serves on the executive staff of Mount Zion Baptist of Greensboro, NC as Pastor of Children and Youth. Mount Zion is a church of 5,000 members whose vision is to exalt God, equip the believer, evangelize the lost, enable the body, and encourage opportunities. He is submitted to Senior Pastor Bishop George W. Brooks who serves on the executive board as Bishop of Administration of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship under the leadership of Bishop Paul S. Morton.

Pastor Lemons oversees 600 radical students where he bridges the gap between Hip-Hop and Holiness.  He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and raised by his loving mother, Scherrie Knight. He preaches the Word of God in order to empower and propel a generation into their divine purpose and place in God.

He attended Langston University, where he served as President of the Freshman Class and Activities Coordinator for the Student Government Association of over 2000 students.

He has attended meetings in Washington D.C. with former Congressman J.C. Watts concerning the production of funds to educate the African American Society. He has also been invited to attend several “Think Tank” activities across America at numerous universities to access more links to empower other young people. He has been in the presence of Jim Johnson, the former owner of Black Entertainment Television (BET), Reverend Al Sharpton and many other distinguished attendees of the Thurgood Marshall’s Scholarship Fund in New York City, NY to engage with leaders known for their excellence and involvement in various important endeavors.

Pastor Lemons has been to the White House to hear President George W. Bush discuss the “Leave No Child Behind Act”.   Pastor Lemons was born in the world but lives for The Word and he preaches to meet the needs of others.  This young man’s street jargon makes it easier to reach and save the youth.  His biblical substance blesses souls; his edgy exegesis edifies the environment.

In August 2005, he held a young adult conference which donated all proceeds to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. This cause was under the Umbrella Praise Attack Ministries, an organization founded and formed by Pastor Lemons. He is the proud husband of Lady Tiffany Celeste Lemons. This is a man on a mission to minister to everyone that he can through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
