In recognition of the nation's corporate day of prayer (Thursday, May 6), the Prayer ministry will sponsor a prayer garden in Room 1 which will be available for use beginning Monday, May 3 leading up to the evening worship service at 7:00 pm in the Chapel. The Mount Zion Prayer Ministry is dedicated to seeking God continually on behalf of the church’s members, ministries of the church, the global community and its leaders and those separated from God. The Prayer Ministry is aligned with the vision and mission of Mount Zion and the ministry's on-going focus is "One vision, One voice", believing God for unity among the believers at Mount Zion to pray without ceasing. The Prayer Ministry serves as a catalyst for inciting prayer within the Mount Zion church body as well as outside of our body.

The Prayer Ministry meets every fourth Tuesday of each month from 7:00-9:00pm. From 7:00-7:30pm, the team meets in the Prayer Room behind the Chapel to pray and from 7:30-9:00pm, the meeting is held in Room 236.
