The Young Adult Ministry second quarter theme is TBA. You might ask "What is TBA...What is going to be announced?" The answer to that is you! We have left our first quarter theme of "Being Free" and in this season God has announced that we are victorious and no longer bound to or by what used to easily distract and deter us from keeping our eye on the prize. Join the Young Adult Ministry as we continue to celebrate the small and large victories as we continue to walk with P.O.W.E.R. in this season of Great Expectations!

The Overview

The Young Adult Ministry of Mount Zion Baptist Church Inc is comprised of college students and professionals ranging in age from 18-35. Our congregation is energetic, passionate about the Word of God, and hungry for an opportunity to share the Gospel.

The Theme

The Young Adult Ministry is P.O.W.E.R an acronym for:
People Of Wisdom Exemplifying Revelation. This comes from Hosea 4:6.

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…"

The Goal

The Young Adult Ministry will build a strong infrastructure by providing platforms on which Young Adults can connect with each other and the ministry as a whole. The undergirding principle of the ministry is establishing relationships that do not allow people to fall through the cracks.

The Outcome

A ministry made up of spiritually mature Christians, seeking to engage the world in a conversation or interaction that leads to acceptance of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin.
