Request An Absentee Ballot Now!

 All voters may request an absentee ballot for the November 3, 2020 general election. Any registered voter can vote “absentee by-mail” for any reason.

If you are not registered to vote, you can submit a “voter registration form” with this request. Please see the “Register to Vote Now!” section. Both applications should be mailed or delivered in- person to the board of election in your county of residence.

 On the right side under “Forms”, select “N.C. Absentee Ballot Request Form”. Read and follow the instructions. You can print the form to complete or type in your information and then print the form. Send the form to the Board of Elections at the address in the instructions.

The Board of Elections will begin mailing out the actual absentee ballots in September.

  7. Please view your voter information (Sample Ballot, Polling Place, Voter Details, Jurisdictions, Absentee Request, etc.). A Sample Ballots should be available for review now or at a date nearer to the election.
