Plant: Your first stop is at our New Member Orientation. Here is where you’ll learn all about what we believe and teach here at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Our desire is for every member to grow in a way that makes them a strong, compassionate, and willing Kingdom Servant.

Grow: Your next stop is to join a ministry or Kingdom Group to experience the joy of bringing others into the presence of the LORD. We also want to encourage you to develop your Spiritual muscles by connecting with others who are at a similar life stage or have similar interests.

Go: Your participation in a ministry and Kingdom Group will prepare you to Go outside the walls of the church and serve others in a way that shows them love of Christ, and draws them to learn more about the Word of God.

Kingdom Level: Your final destination is the Kingdom Level. Along the way, you’ve become what the Bible calls a Disciple or follower of Christ. You now have the privilege of encouraging others to travel this road to Discipleship! Again, we welcome you and encourage you to develop Godly habits, and a Kingdom mindset. Be Blessed!

Pastor Joe Frierson

Pastor Joseph Frierson, Jr. loves God, his family, and his community. He serves as the Young Adult Pastor at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC under the leadership of Pastor Bryan J. Pierce, Sr. Pastor Frierson has a fervent zeal and solid belief in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and furthermore believes in the enormous and never-ending love the Heavenly Father has for all humanity.
