What to Expect
If it's your first time at Mount Zion, you are our honored guest. We’ve thought through every detail of the worship experience on your behalf, and we’re excited to host you. Still, we understand that showing up at a new place for the first time can cause you to be nervous, so here are a few frequently asked questions to help you plan your visit.
Will I need to wear a mask?
We are asking guests to wear masks as they enter the building and make their way to their seats. We are closely watching local, state, and federal guidelines for houses of worship to ensure all recommended safety precautions are implemented to ensure your safety.
How will Mount Zion practice social distancing?
We have made accommodations to reserve every other row in the sanctuary to allow for social distancing. We are asking that you allow 2 seats between you and other families, and that you enter the door designated in the email that was sent to you.
We also ask that every individual practices social distancing while in the lobby or common areas.
Do I Need To RSVP or register?
Not at this time. We only ask that you follow the 3Ws upon entering the building.
How is Mount Zion cleaning its facilities?
We will conduct regular cleanings between worship experiences to ensure proper sanitation. Additionally, hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the Mount Zion campus.
Will restrooms be open?
Yes, all restrooms will be open and will undergo routine cleaning.
How can I continue giving a liberal gift?
During this time, we will have limited offering baskets; however, we do encourage digital giving. You can give online at mtzbc.com/give or by texting your dollar amount to 336.203.0332 and following the prompts.
Can I continue to be a part of the online experience?
Of course! We encourage you to continue joining us online each Sunday until you feel comfortable attending in person. The Sunday worship experiences will continue to be streamed every Sunday at mtzbc.online.church Facebook and YouTube.
