Kingdom Marriage Kingdom Group relaunches this month. It is based off of Dr. Tony’s Evans book and series entitled, “Kingdom Marriage”. The group and sessions are designed to connect you and your spouse with your God given season and other married couples just like you. There is hope in God’s Word and in the testimony of others. There is a book that is associated with the group, but is NOT a requirement for the class. Your instructors will advise you on the materials you will need. Mount Zion is hosting a Self Care and Mental wellness Kingdom Group. This virtual discussion series will allow participants to share their feelings and emotions is it relates to COVID-19. Topics will include creating self-care plans, mental and emotional wellness practices and grief process as it relates to loss of everyday activities, adjusting to working from home, loss of job, being quarantined. Financial Bootcamp relaunches Sunday, September 27 at 9:00 AM ONLINE. Financial Boot camp will educate you on the fundamentals of financial stewardship and how money works. Each year Mount Zion hosts a Celebration of Life to honor families who've lost loved ones over the past year. Just think, since September of last year, 98 families in our congregation have lost a loved one. Here at Mount Zion, we know that mourning and grief go beyond the funeral, so we are hosting our 2020 VIRTUAL CELEBRATION OF LIFE to encourage all who've lost a loved one over the past year. Job Title: Staff Accountant: Summary: Responsible for ensuring proper accounting procedures while processing invoices, issuing payments, and other duties.
Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of GAAP, PC proficiency, data entry, organizational and general math skills.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Accounting. Previous accounts payable experience preferred but not require.
